T he monthly series of EASI books contains activities that incorporate seasonal and thematic units, with many of the activities having several levels and multiple formats. Areas covered include semantics, syntax, pragmatics, auditory processing, and articulation. Students of varing ages and abilities enjoy the activities while learning skills related to IEP goals and objectives. Speech-language pathologists, resource room teachers, and language arts teachers readily have a plethora of materials and activities for their caseloads that can be printed directly from the accompanying CD or copied from the activity book. Sample topics covered are: monthly vocabulary lists, sentence formulation activities, synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, grammatical functions, auditory memory, following directions, and processing activities, writing lessons, sequence stories, idioms, categories, and articulation. The activities are not just worksheets. Included are gameboards, card activities, movement activities and art projects that incorporate the various skill areas.
